Portfolio Tracker

       Introduction

The Portfolio Tracker enables you with a number of tools for tracking securities. You can also use the Portfolio Tracker to compare securities with the market and to track information about those securities.

Functions of portfolio tracker ?

Your portfolio include Non Fixed Income / Tenure and Fixed Income / Tenure Insurance

1) How to maintain your portfolio?

You can track new additions or changes in your portfolio - but they won't appear in your portfolio until you add them. If you add stocks that split, you'll need to edit your portfolio to reflect those changes. Prices for stocks are updated throughout the day.

2) Add Entries

You can add any stock to your portfolio, whether you're just creating a new portfolio or adding to an existing one.

How to Add entries ?

Select the Portfolios tab

If you want to create a new account, and then select the link Create Portfolio. This will take you to a new page where we can provide a name for the portfolio.Click on Create my new portfolio and add transactions when you're done.

However, if you want to add entries to an existing account, then first select this account to display the valuation record for it. If you have only one account, the valuation record for it would be displayed by default. If you have more than one account, from the drop-down box, select the account that you want to view. The page will get refreshed with the details of your new selection. There you can see your Non Fixed Income / Tenure and Fixed Income / Tenure.

i)      At Buy enter the type of transaction was bought.
ii)     At Sell enter the type of transaction was sold.
iii)    At Date, enter the date the security settled into your account
iv)    At Name type the name of the security
v)     To add Name, type few characters in above text-box and click on 'Go!' button to search and select name.
vi)    At Stock Exchange select the exchange type whether BSE/NSE
vii)   At Transacted Quantity, type a new number of shares or units.
viii)  At Transacted Price, enter the amount that represents the price paid per share or unit.
ix)    Repeat the above steps for all other stocks.

At any time, you can change the entries for positions in your portfolio. You can also remove entries from your portfolio.

How to Edit entries?

1. Click the Transaction History. Page will get refresh there you can see your transaction and in the Edit/Delete
2. All your entered transactions for the account are displayed. You can edit the values or press the Delete at the left to delete a particular entry.
3. You can change any of the following items:
i)    At Transacted Quantity, type a new number of shares or units.
ii)   At Transacted Price, enter the amount that represents the price paid per share or unit,inclusive of brokerage or taxes.
iii)  At Date, enter the date the security settled into your account.
iv)  Click Update to Change
4. If you're deleting an Portfolio:
i)    Click Delete Portfolio. Page will get refresh and u can select your portfolio which one have to be delete and click on the Delete button.
ii)   Then the Selected portfolio all it's transactions are removed
iii)  Note: Check to make sure this is the Portfolio you want to remove
5. If you’re editing an portfolio:
i)    Click Edit Portfolio. Page will get refresh and u can select your portfolio which one have to be edit and click on the Update button.
ii)   The page will be redirected to another page their u can edit your portfolio and click on the update button.
iii)  Note: Check to make sure this is the Portfolio you want to edit

Definitions

Transacted Quantity -The number of shares.

Transacted Price -What you paid for the name per unit.

Date -When you bought or sold the security.

Buy / Sell -Whether you bought or sold the transaction.
